Why? Because it's a beautiful day and I've never driven a convertible before. Seems well worth the $40.

I did the same thing one time and I absolutely fell in love. My next car MUST be a convertible, even though I'll most likely be in Michigan.

most likely a Volvo C70. I'm in Florida and a hardtop convertible seems best. I also love how it looks.

yeah. My dad had a 92 Saab 900 convertible and it leaked quite a bit and was also broken into.

At least with the hardtop when its up very few people will know its a convertible. Also they don't leak as much.

And it looks great with the top up since it matches the rest of the car unlike many

Yeah I've always been partial to hardtops myself. Unless you're really looking for performance they're a pretty awesome solution to the disadvantages of a convertible. Personally, I'd looove to get my hands on an SL with a power hardtop. Anyways, looking forward to seeing pics if/when you pull the trigger on the new 'vo!
